The Legacy Fund
Supporting the development of trusted public legal education resources
The Legacy Fund supports the development, expansion, and ongoing improvement of educational resources that explain Canadian legal processes in clear, accessible language. Resources include plain-language guides, educational materials, and curriculum that help individuals and families better understand how criminal and family law processes operate in Canada.
Every resource developed through the Legacy Fund is based on publicly available information, including legislation, court decisions, government publications, Statistics Canada data, and academic research where appropriate. All materials are presented in a neutral, balanced, and non-partisan manner.
The Legacy Fund reflects Presumption of Innocence Canada's commitment to advancing public legal education. It helps ensure that educational resources remain freely available, accurate, and regularly updated for Canadians seeking to better understand the justice system.
Presumption of Innocence Canada provides educational information only. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or advocate for changes in law or public policy.
