Public legal education should be accurate, balanced, and verifiable. Every Presumption of Innocence Canada program is developed using publicly available sources, including legislation, court decisions, government publications, Statistics Canada data, and academic research where appropriate.
Programs are reviewed and updated as laws, procedures, and publicly available information change.
Presumption of Innocence Canada does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Our role is to improve public understanding of Canadian legal processes through education.
The Legacy Fund
Supports the development of educational resources about Canadian legal processes, including informational materials about court procedures.
